i suppose this ‘blog’ was created due to a string of events in the last couple months, be it in my professional life, school life or personal life, i simply felt compelled to create this blog.
i tend to express myself best in written form – that isn’t to say i have fantastic writing skills and a coherent structure – because i most certainly don’t. however, i just happen to find myself having significant ease in just jotting my thoughts down, be it on paper or by typing. my thought process though, is strongest in the middle of the night, with little or no distraction – because my mind tends to wander through information at an unimaginable speed, and i can hardly ever pinpoint or stop a thought on the spot throughout the day. which is why, and i’m sure those of you who will end up frequenting this blog will notice, is that i tend to ramble a lot (hence the name of the blog).
my primary goal for this to be a design-thought oriented blog, my thoughts and opinions on the design of today, yesterday and the future. my thoughts on art happenings, the way things are handled, other peoples thoughts, etc etc. however, at the same time, i won’t stop myself from posting about anything completely un-related to design either. whatever hits the keyboard, hits the keyboard. this was originally going to be a design-essays blog, but knowing myself, that won’t last for long, so i figured i would keep the form relatively open.
